People have been noticing that we’ve been playing the High Dive a lot recently. We love it there! Kyle Kazlarich is a great talent buyer, he’s business is tight he’s easy to work with. We love the stage, sound and all of the sound guys we work with there, particularly Mike and Robert. It always sounds great, and the vibe is always right.
On May 11th we’re super psyched to play with our brothers from another’s mother, the Braxmatics. We did a Halloween show with them at the High Dive and it was COLD (or HOT, whichever you prefer)! Joining us as well will be the ever entertaining Unibroz. They are as clever, witty and intelligent as they are hilarious.
Here’s some footage of the song “Disco Baby” off of our upcoming album from our last show at the High Dive with the Theoretics. Click on the event poster to RSVP to the facebook invite.
It’s our first show of 2013 and we’re super psyched to play with Thaddillac, Sophistafunk, and More of Anything at Nectar. Some of you may have heard that Richie Aldente has expanded from a trio to a sextet. All of the rumors are true and here’s the proof:
Join our facebook event and come check out the power of the double trio for yourselves on Friday January 25th, 2013.
Richie Aldente is thrilled to be sharing the stage with Seattle’s premier afro-funk and world beat orchestra, the Polyrhythmics, on November 21st at the Nectar! It’s the night before Thanksgiving and we are going rage! Plus we have two new band members and one of them plays guitar…oooh, guitar.
Richie Aldente is back at The High Dive in Fremont, this time playing with the Uni Broz and DJ88, for a night of dancing, funk, disco and hip hop.
For you late night cats, doors are at 10:00p.m. and tickets are just $8 at the door. As usual, this is a 21+ show. We’d love to see you there, and if you’re coming to the show – let us know on Facebook.
We’ve been pretty busy lately. We’re in the studio recording our second album and, on top of it, we’re shooting the music video for Cougar Hunt. We’ll have a blog post next week with some behind the scenes pictures and videos, but let’s just say we think you’re going to love it (spoiler alert — lots of cougars and Richie gets naked).
While we can’t give you our video yet, check out this video from our friends at Local Brew, a Seattle online comedy show. Wild cougars are on the loose – Richie’s dream come true.
Hey Seattle friends – Tuesday, March 20 we’re going to be opening for The McKarrtet at The Royal Room in Columbia City. The McKarrtet is an awesome up and coming jazz band here in Seattle – and guess what – their still in high school!
As you may have guessed, it’s an all ages show and it’s an early show. We’re on at 7:00 p.m., and we’ll be done by 8:30 p.m.-ish – so for you folks that need to get to bed early, this is a perfect show for you.
The Royal Room is located at 5000 Rainier Ave S. in Columbia City. It’s an easy light-rail ride, too! Tickets are just $10 and you can view the Facebook invite here.
